NEW Positive Reinforce /Challenging Behavior Training. This course is designed to explore the different
ways that teachers can promote positive interactions, while addressing challenging, aggressive and
disruptive behaviours. By understanding the importance of social and emotional health, and
supportive environments, which embrace developmentally appropriate practices, teachers can help
to guide children’s behaviors and improve the quality of programming.
There are five monthly sessions worth 12 clocks hours (2.5 hours of professional development per
session). Each session is informative and engaging: therefore, concepts are to be implemented
immediately with mentoring and coaching opportunities throughout.
Other Training Topics/Competencies: Creactivity, Obeservation Portfolios, Children Literacy, etc.
Requirements for Subsidy Contract (competency combined or 2 clock hours)- mandated trainings
for subsidy contracts, required by the Children's Division of the Department of Social Services.

Resilient Life will provide fully qualified and pre-screened staff and assistant teachers to childcare
centers, preschools, and before & after school programs. Services will be available on-demand, even
same day, for short-term or long-term assignments, along with permanent placements. We will work
with all types of childcare organizations,including public & private, non-profit & for-profit, Head Start
and Early Head Start programs, school districts, and community organizations.
The Child Development Associate (CDA)Essentials Course is designed to support teachers who are
in need of obtaining their CDA. This class will provide 120 clock hours of training specifically around
the CDA Competency Goal Areas. It will support participants in completion of their Professional
Portfolio, and work with participants to submit their paperwork for the credential. In addition, this
class will provide guideline for Missouri Accreditation and individual coaching to support the
implementation of learned concepts.
Our staff is contracted by the Council of Professional Recognition, Washington, DC, to conduct the
on-site observation required in obtaining the national Child Development Associated (CDA)
Credential. Therefore, we are available to advise, RENEW CDA Credential every 3 years, assist and
prepare you for successful completion on the credential. Services include, but are not limited to,
Professional Portfolio preparation, pre- observations, transcript reviews, and the 45 hours of
professional development over 3 years to RENEW CDA Credential. Successful completion is
guaranteed.
We will take a in-depth look at the policies, procedures, techniques and required new standards
of a Missouri Accredited Early childhood program Teachers will have the opportunity to simplify
the accreditation process by taking each category step by step, asking questions as they arise and
communicating with each other. Topics of discussion are guidelines for health, safety and nutrition,
children and family relationships and interactions, physical environment, programming/curriculum,
and administration. Teachers will have an understanding of all accreditation requirements, reflect
on classroom practices and create an individualized action plan. This training will also reviews how to
use the new on-line MARIT-2 system to submit required documents, and score the self-studies and
the submission of staff education requirements.

preschoolers the basic skills, things like; the alphabet, spelling, reading, numbers and much more!
We aim to encourage early learning, parent child interaction, self-esteem and help children to
develop fine motor skills and excellent hand eye coordination.
